The Brazos 4-H Archery Club is hosting our second annual buckle shoot on February 21 and 22 at Live Oak Archery in Bryan, TX. Each age class and category will shoot for a belt buckle!
All 3rd-12th graders will follow 4-H rules for bows/arrows. Adults will shoot what they bring, but no lights on bows.
Choose one of three shoot times:
Friday, February 21: check-in time 4:45, shoot time 5:15
Saturday, February 22: check-in time 8:30, shoot time 9:15
Saturday, February 22: check-in time 1:30, shoot time 2:00
Awards will take place 45 minutes after the 1:30 session on Saturday. Food trucks will be available during lunch on Saturday between the two sessions.
All 3rd – 5th grade shooters will shoot at 10 yards and everyone else will shoot at 20 yards. All shooters will shoot 20 ends of 3 arrows for a total of 60 arrows at 40 cm targets.
Awards will be given for 1st-3rd place.
Entries will close on February 14 at 11:59 pm.
